The result is the RAGE8CXP, a loudspeaker that plays full range with authority at a cost less than a compression driver and a midrange on their own.

The RAGE 8CXP speaker boasts remarkable sound quality with its 8″ mid-woofer and a real compression driver that extend the frequency response beyond 20 kHz. This exceptional speaker delivers crystal-clear, dynamic sound for a listening experience unlike any other.
With an impressive efficiency rating of 98dB, you’ll be amazed at how loud and clear this speaker can get, whether you’re using a source unit or an external amplifier. The peak power handling capacity of 500 watts (250 W RMS) is made possible by using a 2.5″ voice coil on the midwoofer and a 1.75″ coil on the compression driver.

We made it a priority to ensure the compression driver horn is flush with the rest of the speaker for easy installs and a sleek, stealthy appearance – a crucial factor when selecting audio for your motorcycle or car. The included full mesh grilles complement the RAGE8CXP perfectly.

Despite utilizing a genuine compression driver without any compromise, the mounting depth is comparable with those using “fake” drivers for high-frequency range. By “fake” we mean a significant compromise where using a decent tweeter would be more advantageous than a mediocre driver horn. This serves as the reason why we paired a real compression driver with a midrange that delivers the required performance specs.
