COMPACT, BUT POTENT
Imagine the RAGE amps, with their features, performance and versatility. Their footprint is small for their performance, but can it be wrapped up in a slight different package? The RAGE MI, where the MI equals Mini does exactly that. Power, Performance, Perception & even smaller!
Offering the exact same power as the RAGE 1200’s wouldn’t make any sence, so we dialled it back a bit. Not much though, the RAGE MI 1000.4 still offers an impressive true 4 x 175 W RMS @ 4 Ω. In dyno testing we were less than 6 % shy of that at 8 Ω! That goes to say these amps are beyond expectation.
The other RAGE MI offering is a 850 W mono and stable at 1 Ω. The same efficiency is clear here, 2 Ω dyno performace boasts more than 600 W. The near identical footprint of these 2 amps makes them perfect for sleek installs.
PACKING A PUNCH
The four channels of the RAGE 1000.4 MI take up the entire panel. We didn't limit it with fixed crossover points and only one crossover type per stereo channel. The amp has fully configurable high and low pass crossovers on all channels. With a 50 Hz ~5 KHz adjustable frequency range, the amp is ideal for anything, from midwoofers to midranges, and even bullet tweeters. Seeking more? The bridged configuration offers more than 500 W per channel, totaling over 1000 W RMS! With low-pass crossovers set accordingly, this tiny amp can be used as a pure sub amp or even in a tri-mode configuration, with loudspeakers on the unbridged channels (front) and a woofer on the bridged channel (rear). The 1800.4 RGB and its 1-channel sibling, the 2500 RGB, were designed to offer great value for price-conscious buyers. All the flashy features and sleek designs are certainly a plus. However, that is merely the icing on the cake.
The truly impressive aspect is the real-world power. Even though the RIOT 1800.4 RGB is rated at 4 x 450 watts at 2 ohms, 14.4v, real-world tests and lab evaluations conducted on amp dynos have far exceeded that. The true RMS power measured was over 4 x 600 watts! That's more than 33% beyond its rating; even in bridge mode at 4 ohms, this amplifier excelled, delivering 2 x 1300 watts. Given the compact dimensions, the power output, and the features offered, the RIOT 1800.4 RGB can power any system as a full-frequency loudspeaker amplifier. Even as a tri-mode amplifier, where 2 channels run the speakers and the remaining 2 channels are connected to subwoofers, you will not be disappointed by its performance.
If you want to install it in newer vehicles without a switched remote signal, the RIOT RGB amplifiers feature high-level inputs and come with all the necessary wiring. We have even added a clip light sensor to this amplifier so you can enjoy your music without the added distortion.
