M12FR- A Swan wih versatility beyond imagination
For more than 10 years, the M12 series have been a product with power in abundance. Each revision was always beyond 10,000 watts. The true uniqueness to these amplifiers was their ability to wire a vast amount of subwoofers to a single amp. This was made possible due to the M12 series being a 2 channel configuration (dual mono), offering both increased power per channel and increased functionality.
This is the evolution of the M12 series, presented in a Full Range 2 Channel.
Who needs a 13.000 watt 2 channel full range amp? Not many the masses will say, but we did it because we wanted to make yet another statement. Imagine the large demo rigs with 60 midrange speakers that has become very popular recently. All of those are wired to multiple mono amps usually netting horrible phasing issues, gain mismatches, and wrong crossover points. Using singular mono amplifiers means more wire connected, more time adjusting each amp and a promised headache trying to get a balanced stereo signal out of multiple mono amplifiers. Imagine it being inside the vehicle, where channel separation is more evident. It makes logical sense having a larger 2 channel singular amplifier, enter the M12FR aka The Swan
NEVER LACKING POWER
Some manufacturers make specific bass models out of their full bridge technology, only to cope with the increased stress a subwoofer will generate. The Swan has no need for a separate high frequency speaker, and bass version. This amplifier is the complete package. Even if you don’t want to use it for 60 midranges or 200 tweeters, you can easily wire 16 subs in total on the Swan powering each sub with ~800 watts rms. The options are plentiful and power is never lacking no matter what setup, full range speakers or massive subwoofers.
Remember it takes power to make power, therefore we adapted the M12FR to the heatsink from the M15R aka “The Raven” and also used QUAD power terminal inputs. Even though the amplifier is based on a Hi-Ef class D design, don’t be surprised of current draws beyond 1000 amps. Make sure to fuse accordingly and design the proper electrical system to support this bird.
BIRD OF GODS
We gave this amplifier the nickname “The Swan”. Not just because of its white color, but due to its pretense in the Danish culture, being the national bird of Denmark. The closely linked Norse mythology in Denmark also mentions the Swan as a bird of the Gods.
With the M12FR’s divine power and clean looks you will stay true to this amplifier and it will forever be your partner, another unique feature of this bird as they are monogamous.
ACCU8
Once you have a crossover that spans up to 17500 Hz, setting it on a potentiometer will be hit & miss. The ACCU8 deals with this. The 41 clicks on the potentiometer each has its own frequency correspondence. Setting it at click 21 is 243 Hz, whereas click 31 is 1192 Hz, quite simple right? The full click chart can be found in the manual.

*In order to get the full power output of the amplifier, it is crucial that your electical system is correctly (over) dimensioned. Failure to upgrading will constrain the power output & lower the efficiency which can cause damage to the amplifier & void the warranty.
This also includes ohm loads below of what is written in the manual. Do take your time and read the manual thoroughly prior to installing! **Marine capable products are not to be subjected directly to water, but has the ability of being functional in humid conditions.
