The U-shaped surrounds provide an extended stroke known as excursion/xmax. This configuration delivers a tighter kick and enhances the sound reproduction in the lower frequencies, resulting in deeper bass. Unlike other product lines, the RAGE P/PWR models come equipped with fully coated cones, making them well-suited for challenging environmental conditions, including exposure to sunlight and outdoor use. The PWR, specifically designed for weather resistance, maintains a sound signature similar to the P series but incorporates a dust cap instead of a phase plug to prevent moisture and debris from entering the speaker enclosure.
