RAGE 5000
9000 watts vs the RAGE 5000?
Have you ever heard of the term "box rise," correctly named impedance rise? This is a battle that can't be won once your subwoofer starts pounding out bass. A subwoofer doesn't have a static load once it starts to move, and you can easily experience a change in ohm loads with a factor of 3x. So all of a sudden, your 9000-watt amplifier will "only" deliver 3000 watts at 4 ohms. It's physics, and you can't easily defy it. The RAGE 5000 is here to assist you in that case.
REGULATION
The trick is known as regulation. It's not unique, but in the power ratio of the RAGE 5000 it is still not that common.
The RAGE 5000 uses high performance chipsets to control the power output at various ohm loads, thereby combatting the impedance rise to an extent. Using this technology, it is now possible to compare it to a traditional 9000 w amplifier that has a power increase of 80% across the various ohm loads . The regulation in the RAGE amplifier gives you an excessive power output compared to larger amplifiers and ordinary 5000 watt amps are left biting the dust. The fact that our amplifier is far more compact is perfect for any install. Even so, the amplifier comes fully equipped with dual oversized 0 AWG power terminals and quad speaker terminal outputs.
Total control and info is supplied by the extensive feature bass level remote. With features such as clip led, power status, voltage and even thermal reading, you will never be in doubt.
Due to the output inductor circuit design of the RAGE 5000, it is not recommended to power up the amplifier without a load on the speaker terminals. Failure to do so could potentially cause a circuit malfunction which will leave the amplifier stuck in protect.
